Your CV, Rewritten by Two AIs Fighting Over It

An open-source tool uses two Claude agents — one writes your CV, one tears it apart — so only the best version reaches recruiters.

Two heads are better than one — even when both are AI

A developer named Mads built something that quietly changes how job hunting works. You give it your existing CV. It reads job postings. Then it does something clever: one AI agent writes a tailored CV and cover letter for the role, and a second AI agent — spawned fresh, with no memory of what the first one did — plays the critic.

That second agent researches the company, reads the draft, and flags what's weak: missing keywords, soft claims, anything that would get filtered out by the automated systems most big companies use to screen applications before a human ever sees them. Then the first agent revises based on the notes.

It also runs what's called an ATS check — it pulls the actual text from your PDF and scores how well it matches the job posting's real keywords. No invented buzzwords, just honest gap analysis.

The whole thing is free and open-source. It was built for Danish job boards but can be pointed at any public job listing site.

Over 2,000 people starred it on GitHub in a single week, which in that world means it hit a nerve.

Words worth knowing

ATS (Applicant Tracking System): The software most companies use to auto-filter CVs before anyone human reads them. If your CV doesn't contain the right words, it never gets seen.

Multi-agent loop: When two or more AIs work together — one acting, one reviewing — instead of one AI doing everything alone. Usually produces better results.

Open-source: Software anyone can use, inspect, or modify for free. No subscription, no hidden costs.

Worth thinking about: if you hire people, your job postings are probably being fed into tools exactly like this one right now. What does your listing look like to an AI reading it for keywords?
