Jack Dorsey — the person who built Twitter and Square — quietly released something called Buzz last week. It's a free workspace your team can run on its own server. It does what Slack does (chat, threads, notifications) and what GitHub does (code storage, code reviews, automated tasks) — both, in one place, at zero cost per seat.
That alone would be interesting. But the part worth sitting with is this: AI agents in Buzz aren't just bots you ping occasionally. They hold their own identity, like a real team member with a name badge. Every message they send, every review they leave, every task they trigger is signed and recorded in an unalterable log. You always know who did what and when — human or AI.
For a small team paying, say, €15–20 per person per month for Slack, plus another chunk for GitHub, this is a meaningful bill to eliminate. For a founder thinking about adding AI to their workflows, it's the first tool that treats that question seriously at the infrastructure level.
