Then 66,000 people starred it on GitHub in a matter of weeks. That's a number usually reserved for the most beloved software tools in the world.

The project's stated reason is straightforward and kind: kids in rural China and Chinese families living abroad often can't access these materials easily. So someone just... fixed that.
