EveryApp: your business apps, in your own account
EveryApp installs open-source versions of your CRM, analytics, SEO and email tools into your own Cloudflare account, so you rent less and own more.
What it is
Most businesses run on a handful of rented apps: a CRM for customers, something for analytics, an SEO tool, an inbox. Each one charges per person, and each one keeps your data in its house.
EveryApp, which turned up in The Tool Nerd's weekly roundup of new AI tools, takes another path. Its stated mission is to "make every app open source." It installs ready-made apps straight into your own Cloudflare account: OpenSEO for SEO research, OpenCRM, OpenAnalytics (which works without cookies) and OpenMail, where an AI agent drafts your email replies.
Why it caught our eye
What matters most is where these apps live. They don't sit on someone else's servers. They sit in a space you control. It's the difference between renting a desk at a co-working space and having the key to your own studio. The furniture might look the same, but it's yours.
And because it's MIT-licensed, you can use it, change it and keep it without asking anyone. For a founder, that means running the usual stack of business tools without a subscription that grows every time you hire.
Words worth knowing
- Open source: the recipe is public. Anyone can read it, adapt it or run it themselves.
- MIT license: one of the most relaxed open-source licenses. Use it, change it, build on it.
- Per-seat pricing: when a tool charges for each person on your team. Hire three people, pay three more times.
- Cookie-less analytics: counting your website visitors without leaving little tracking files in their browser.
Something to sit with
Next time a subscription renews, ask yourself quietly: does this need to be rented, or could it be ours? The original roundup is here: https://www.thetoolnerd.com/p/new-ai-tools-this-week-oct-27-2026
