Service 03 · Revenue operations & automation
Revenue operations and automation without the machinery.
Connect demand, sales follow-up and delivery around the few signals the business actually needs.
Deals get lost in spreadsheets, follow-ups are forgotten and nobody trusts the reports. We clean up the CRM, agree on what counts as a lead and who owns each step, automate the repetitive handovers and build reports that show real pipeline and revenue, not just activity.

- Best whenDemand exists, but CRM, follow-up and reporting slow the team down

The problem
Automation amplifies the process it is given.
If qualification, ownership and the next action are unclear, more software creates faster confusion. The operating model comes first; implementation follows it.
- Leads or opportunities go quiet because the next owner is not explicit.
- The CRM is a reporting obligation rather than a working tool.
- Management cannot reconcile channel activity with opportunities or revenue.
What changes
Make revenue work easier to execute and inspect.
Clear lifecycle
Shared definitions for interest, qualification, opportunity and customer, plus an owner and next action.
Useful automation
Stable, observable workflows for routing, enrichment, reminders and follow-up where they remove manual friction.
Commercial truth
A compact measurement layer that shows source, movement, conversion and value without exposing personal data to analytics.
Scope
What the RevOps mandate can include
AC0 works from the revenue workflow outward. Tools are selected or retained because they support that workflow, not because a stack diagram needs another box.
- Lifecycle, qualification and ownership rules
- CRM information architecture and pipeline stages
- Lead capture, routing, enrichment and follow-up
- Consent-aware email and newsletter workflows
- Analytics events and commercial reporting
- Runbooks, monitoring and team handover
Best fit: a small or mid-sized B2B team with a working sales motion and enough transaction volume for operational friction to matter.
Frequently asked
Do we need to replace our CRM?
Usually not. AC0 first inspects the workflow, data and ownership. A replacement is considered only when the current system genuinely prevents the required operating model.
Can you add AI to our sales process?
Yes, where a defined task has adequate data, a review path and measurable value. AC0 does not automate ambiguous decisions merely to add AI.
What do you track?
Only the events and fields required for operating decisions. Personal data does not belong in product analytics, and consent for Field Notes remains separate from an application.
